Description: The Stute is the student newspaper of Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken NJ The Stute publishes every Friday morning online and print Once the student publication Stevens Life discontinued in the late 1890s The Stute published its first issue in 1904 with a mission to chronicle college events athletic contests class news news of the societies clubs and fraternities That mission is not unlike our own today Our paper covers the most important stories of the university and counts among its ranks some of Americas greatest scientists mathematicians engineers entrepreneurs artists and writers We deliver news to the Stevens and Hoboken community and collaborate with other student organizations to inform readers We cover campus and university news Hoboken and national affairs Science arts and culture sports and much more The Stute flourishes because of its dedicated staff of undergraduate volunteers We use Slack for all our communication outside of our office Any member of the Stevens community is welcome to join by going to stuteslackcom
